10/10 recommend enrolling your children in this karate studio! It's new and clean and beautiful, but what really sets it apart are the instructors! Mr. Conkel and Ms. Kilar are incredible teachers, there isn't one thing I would change about them! They are incredibly patient with my son, while pushing him to do his best and being firm when he needs it. I love that even when he is being corrected they are positive, no shaming at all. They have also taken the time to learn little things about him, like his favorite colors, which really shows how much they care about their students. My son looks forward to his lessons all week long, and it's honestly a joy to watch him train. If you are even slightly considering karate for your child, try out New Heights!
New Heights Karate Studio is amazing and the instructors are phenomenal! They provide an incredibly well rounded atmosphere that begins with students just starting out to always challenging experienced students with advanced technique and weapon training and everything in between. As a parent, I have also really enjoyed the parent/family class and getting back into shape.
It feels really good to walk into the studio where there is enthusiasm from the instructors, great communication between instructor and parent, and where the students are inspired and encouraged as they train.

Mr. Conkel and Ms. Kilar are the sweetest couple ever!!! They really treat you like family and my son always looks forward to karate!! I am so glad someone referred me over to them!! Very affordable too!!
Yes, I was a student of Master Tim for several years in Victoria Texas and it was the best experience of my life. He is no doubt dedicated to teaching and improving the lives of his studentsAnd his skills are off the chart! I am forever grateful to Master Sensei Tim for helping me accomplish and achieve my life goals of becoming a black belt.... at age 60!

We have had a great martial arts journey with school owners/instructors Ms. Kilar & Mr. Conkle! We've been training with them for nearly a year now. They bring a wealth of experience, professionalism, quality, and fun to the program. The structure and flow of the classes is such that every student is engaged the entire time and they take their time to improve technique based on the individual needs. Love the instructors and we are excited to embark on this new branch of their business! Highly recommend!!!

My kids started lessons at New Heights Karate Studio, less than 2months ago, and I can’t begin to tell you how fantastic it’s all been! I don’t even know where to start and actually pick what’s best about it!
The best ofcourse are the instructors Ms Kilar and Mr Conkel. They are amazing, professional, fun, and so knowledgeable! They take time to understand each kid, their way of learning and go down each kids level to explain different ways to make them learn. They are extremely encouraging and motivating, they have begun to instill in my kids this confidence that they can rule the world!!
We usually don’t get to choose our families but THIS IS ONE FAMILY that you would be lucky enough to choose and be a part of!!!
